Kejia Temple

A monk stands in front of butter lamps in the Kejia Temple in Burang County of Ali Prefecture, southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region. The Kejia Temple, close to Nepal and India, is a famous temple of Sakya Sect of Tibetan Buddhism. The senior monk Lotsawa Rinchen Sangpo directed the building of the temple in 996.  (Xinhua/Tao Xiyi)
